Each day, you’ll be unlocking a foundational 20-30 minute video lesson that teaches Alex Howard’s unique methodology to help you understand the current state of your nervous system, and map a path to regaining balance.
You’ll also receive a daily worksheet to help you reflect on and build a deeper understanding of the content covered that day as it relates to you and your situation.
Day 1:
Nervous System 101
On Day 1, you’ll learn some of the fundamental principles to understanding what’s happening in your nervous system, discover what a maladaptive stress response is, and be introduced to the Therapeutic Coaching map for decoding your experience.
Day 2:
Mental Triggers
On Day 2, we’ll be exploring the mental patterns and triggers that can be driving nervous system dysregulation.You’ll discover the 5 most common patterns with a checklist to reflect upon your own experience.
Day 3:
Emotional Triggers
On Day 3, we’ll be delving into emotional triggers. You’ll learn about the safety loop and the six emotional defences we use to avoid feeling our emotions. Alex will also guide you through a practical exercise to help you become more aware of your own emotional defences.
Day 4:
Physical Systems
On Day 4, we’ll be looking at your physical systems. You’ll learn about the key bodily systems impacted by your nervous system and the interconnected loop between your mind and your body. You will also investigate the body systems most relevant to you.
Day 5:
The RESET Model of Healing
On the last day of the series, we’ll be exploring how to reset your nervous system and create lasting change.You will learn the RESET 5-step framework, and why doing things in the right sequence is so important
